The first-ever Unreal Engine SIGGRAPH User Group held at LA's Orpheum Theater on July 31, 2017 was a jam-packed, 100-minute showcase, featuring 20 presenters across multiple industries. In addition to announcing the Datasmith beta, our workflow toolkit for architectural and design visualization, we covered real-time production ('The Human Race', 'Fortnite: A Hard Day's Nite', 'Zafari'), digital humans ('Meet Mike'), autonomous driving (Zoox), large datasets (HOK, CityEngine), and new Unreal integrations (Twinmotion, V-Ray). We’d like to thank the guest presenters and contributors who made it such a success: aXYZ Anima, Chaos Group V-Ray, Digital Dimension, Esri CityEngine, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, HOK, Lissoni Associati, Mike Seymour, Twinmotion, Zoox.
